After school, Tom worked for a building firm before gaining a site manager apprenticeship for a well-known London based contractor. Once qualified, he became a site manager for several years, before taking a project management position within the firm. Specialising in both residential and commercial construction, he has worked on a multitude of projects and is well known for his attention to detail. Tom lives in Surrey with his wife and two young children.

Grant has worked as an electrical mechanical foreman, a site manager, and as a project manager for a company that built high-end homes in London. He progressed through this company on a 20-year journey until he became contracts manager, responsible for the whole construction and team. This is where his knowledge and love for construction, extension and refurbishment of properties developed.
